At AVI Tribal we understand the necessity for you and your company to be covered under all lines of insurance. Simply defined, workers' compensation recompenses, gives something to a worker, one who performs labor for another, for services rendered or for injuries. Workers' compensation is not, by definition, insurance. Rather, it is social insurance, much the same as unemployment compensation and social security. Under workers' compensation law, employers are required to make provisions such that workers who are injured in accidents arising out of or in the course of employment receive medical treatment and receive payments ranging up to roughly two thirds (2/3) of their wages to replace lost income. Workers' compensation is a no-fault structure, meaning that an injured employee need not prove the injury was someone else's fault in order to receive workers' compensation benefits for an on-the-job injury.
There are three basic parts to the workers' compensation system:
- The benefit structure
- The benefit delivery system
- The benefit financing system
Commercial General Liability

Commercial General Liability is a broad commercial policy that covers all liability exposures of a business that are not specifically excluded. Coverages include Product Liability, Completed Operations, Premises In Operations and Independent Contractors.
With a direct specialization on Native American enterprises, AVI Tribal has a very unique handle on the market. We are one of only a few agencies in the country appointed with ALL of the Tribal / Indian insurers, including Tribal First, OnPoint and Travelers Tribal Program. We negotiate all of our clients renewals and adjustments directly with all carriers in the market segment. The advantage to you is a more broad and objective look at ALL of your options rather than being limited to a single carrier option.
Property and Casualty Insurance
At AVI Tribal we know that coverage is important not only at the work place but also for your personal property. Property and Casualty insurance encompasses a wide variety of different lines of insurance. Property insurance is a term to define coverages such as home, fire, flood, earthquake, etc. Casualty insurance is similar to life insurance but covers excluded incidents by life insurance policies such as auto liability insurance, marine insurance relating to shipwrecks etc.
